Some of the world's greatest concepts started from this.  Ideas, revelations and even interpretations all come from one simple thing: that domed part in your head, the mind! But how does it get put into action and become something great?

It's no wonder that we have instincts, fears, ideas, and things to share with others.  They all derive from past events and learned behavior that your mind stores for you.  But how about putting your mind to work for you in the future? As you all know by now, I am a big fan of the book, The Secret.  Part of this blog derives from the fact that this book has in some way changed my life.  Not that I believe it in its entirety, I am a skeptic like all of you and think that the mind couldn't possibly give you absolutely everything your heart desires, but the idea behind it just about living the simple way of life and appreciating everything in life.

That said, the main topic of today's blog boys and girls is about how by changing your mindset, something that seems so simple can really have an impact on your life.  This was brought to my attention not too long ago when I was discussing some of the life changes that have recently been going on in my life; from a new career, to planning on going back to school, to even the launch of my small business.  How did these things all happen?  Well, as The Secret suggests, start off by picking your self up from whatever wronged you in the past. Whatever happened, happened and hate to break it to you harshly, but you cannot go back into the past and correct it no matter what you think you can do.  Just as simple as calling someone an inappropriate name because you're angry, you can't ever take it back (of course, you can apologize and mend the ties... but the idea that stands is nothing can be taken back, and you can't do anything but move forward).  But put it in your mind that, yes, you  can create change in your life, no matter how big or how small.  Use The Secret as a guide book on how to live a  better life.  When you're only thinking about the good things in life, the bad things tend to disappear.  Even the small things can snowball into something big!  Like this blog... which I hope someone somewhere out there is actually taking the time to read.  Put it in your mind that you can achieve success!
